The Heather Trust has been running a survey to gather information about heather beetle for the past eight years, and this work is the only attempt of its kind to chart and document beetle outbreaks wherever they occur across Britain.

The complete list of beetle outbreaks is hard to pin down, but the Heather Trust now has detailed information on over 100 heather beetle outbreaks from Exmoor to Caithness, and the Trust's work aims to keep this important issue in the spotlight.
